We need a Warehouse Coordinator

St Albans and District Foodbank (SADFB) is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator for 20 hours a week to oversee our warehouse operations and ensure the efficient supply of emergency food to distribution centres across the district.

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall accountability for the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse.
  • Coordinate the effective supply of emergency food to district-wide distribution centres.
  • Partner with warehouse shift leaders, volunteers, and our in-house staff team to streamline operations and maximise efficiency.
  • Maintain frequent interaction with donors and suppliers to ensure a steady flow of resources.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in planning, coordination, and problem-solving with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work confidently under minimal supervision in a busy, dynamicenvironment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for leading volunteers in a supportive and collaborative manner.
  • Reliability and adaptability are key, as you’ll need to respond quickly to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in IT, including the use of Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to the ethos and values of St Albans and District Foodbank.
