Christmas donations for Afghan families

Herts Welcomes Refugees and St Albans for Refugees (Stars) were very grateful for the Christmas donations of chocolates, biscuits, toiletries,etc for the 25 or so Afghan families, waiting in one local hotel to be resettled here, and for two other local hotels where, in each, there are over 120 asylum seekers – some families and couples, but many single people. It was a small gesture that hopefully made them feel more welcome here.
